The first concert is a memory of the legendary Czech singer, the world’s first Rienzi and Tannhäuser, Josef Ticháček. Frank van Aken, the Tannhäuser of Bayreuth, and the 1st Kapellmeister of the Aalto-Musiktheater and Philharmonie Essen, Robert Jindra, accepted the invitation to Ostrava. They will be complemented by the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, an orchestra of Wagnerian proportions, performing staples of the repertoire of the famous Czech singer.
